MERCY. Being kind and thoughtful towards others is the theme for this time of year, where we give thanks and gratitude for our blessings and for loved ones. Showing mercy, handing over forgiveness to others, as well as to ourselves, opens us up to the higher vibrations of our souls. Let go of the black shroud that has enveloped you, and accept the peace offering that is being handed over to you if someone else is being merciful or forgiving towards you. Releasing these negative emotions give way to a fresh start. Like the birth of Jesus Christ...a new birth, and a celebration.
CHILDREN. Very symbolic and fitting for the theme of this week's reading...as the birth of Jesus reminds us that children are the ultimate gift from God. Not only that, but seeing life through the eyes of a child, reminds us of the innocence and the wonder that is Christmas time. A time of miracles, joy, and family. Let us also try to remember the children that do not have families to celebrate with, or the little ones that are sick. If you have time during this holiday, make a charitable donation of a toy to a childrens' hospital or another foundation. A new toy for those less fortunate children will bring an immense amount of joy to their hearts at this time.
Lastly, remember to hold your children, hug them and tell that you love them. Remind them of the true meaning of the season, for that is the greatest gift that you can truly give to a child...LOVE.
